“If there is free flow, there is no pain. If there is pain, there is lack of free flow.”
I am offering Acupressure therapy in Albany on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, 2:30–8:30 p.m.
My therapeutic bodywork session helps with stress and tension reduction and supports the natural self-healing mechanism through a deeply relaxing experience. It focuses on enhancing the life energy flow in the body and balancing its whole network.
Zen Shiatsu is a holistic and integrated bodywork approach that utilizes rhythmic breathing, palming, kneading, and stretching for healing and maintaining a healthy condition. It is based on Asian traditional medicine, which explains the human body in terms of a network of meridians through which flows energy called Ki (or Qi). The therapy aims at balancing Kyo (depleted) and Jitsu (excess), the two interrelated conditions happening in the body (or mind), to reach equilibrium for optimum flow of energy and to promote well-being at the physical, mental, and spiritual levels.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle form of acupressure therapy that uses deep breathing and light finger pressure over specific points on the body. It is a healing art that facilitates the flow of energy in the body. It is based on the premise that the cause of illnesses—mental, emotional, and physical—is a blockage in the flow of energy.
Zen Shiatsu and Jin Shin Jyutsu value the importance of self-care and a mindful daily lifestyle. They offer easy and effective ways of self-help to heal and empower yourself.
If these healing arts sound helpful to you, please contact me. I look forward to seeing you!
